Questions, Answered.
Everything you need to know.
Booking, documents, insurance, returns — the answers our drivers ask for, before they ask.
What documents do I need to rent a car?
You'll need:
- A valid driver's license (held for at least 1 year for most categories)
- Your passport — or Emirates ID if you're a UAE resident
- An international credit card in your own name (for the security deposit)
International licenses from most countries are accepted alongside the original — drivers from a few countries require an International Driving Permit (IDP). Ask us in advance if you're unsure.
What does the insurance cover?
Every rental includes:
- Third-party liability — covers damage you cause to other people, vehicles, or property (UAE minimum: AED 250,000)
- Theft protection — covers the rental vehicle if it's stolen
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) — limits your liability for damage to the rental vehicle to a fixed excess
You can upgrade to Zero Excess Insurance at booking — this removes the excess entirely, so you pay nothing in the event of damage. It's available for AED 35–80/day depending on the category.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your pickup time — full refund, no questions asked.
Within 24 hours of pickup:
- Standard rentals — first day's rate is charged, rest refunded
- Luxury & sports — 50% of the booking is charged
- Long-term subscriptions — see the specific contract terms
To cancel, just reply to your booking confirmation email or call us. Refunds appear on your card in 7–10 business days.
What is the minimum age to rent?
The minimum age depends on the category:
- Economy & compact — 21+ with at least 1 year of driving experience
- SUVs & mid-range — 23+ with at least 1 year of driving experience
- Luxury & sports cars — 25+ with at least 2 years of driving experience
A young-driver surcharge of AED 50/day may apply for drivers aged 21–24.
Can I cross borders with the rental car?
Oman: Cross-border travel is available with at least 48 hours' prior notice. You'll need additional Oman insurance (we arrange it for AED 100), and your passport must be visa-eligible.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain: Not permitted for most categories.
Please tell us at the time of booking if you plan to cross into Oman so we can prepare the paperwork.
Can I deliver and pick up at the airport?
Yes — we offer free meet-and-greet at DXB (Terminals 1, 2, 3) and DWC for bookings of 3 days or longer. For shorter bookings, airport delivery is AED 75.
Flight tracking is included on every airport pickup — your driver will already be at the terminal if your flight lands early or late, and no waiting fees apply for normal delays.
What happens if I have an accident?
Stay calm and follow these steps:
- Make sure everyone is safe — call 999 for police and ambulance if needed
- Don't move the vehicles until police arrive (UAE law)
- Get a police report — this is mandatory for any insurance claim
- Call our 24/7 roadside line: +971 4 XXX XXXX
We'll dispatch a replacement vehicle to your location and handle the rest with the police report. If you have Zero Excess Insurance, you walk away with no out-of-pocket cost.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and UnionPay. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.
For the security deposit (refundable), an international credit card is required — debit cards can be used for the rental fee but not the deposit hold. The deposit is held, not charged, and released within 7–10 business days after return.
Corporate accounts can be set up with Net 30 invoicing — talk to our B2B team.
